Reviews and Ratings
We had a decent stay overall but faced some issues that made it less than ideal. The room smelled strongly of cleaning products, which was quite off-putting, and the noise from a nearby pub kept us up the first night. However, the staff were helpful, and the view from the second-floor room was nice. The dining options were limited and pricey, but we enjoyed the food at the pub.
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel, enjoying the spacious and clean room with gorgeous views of the marina. The location was perfect, being just a short walk from downtown Tofino, and the access to a free shuttle to the beaches was a huge plus. The on-site dining was delightful, especially with the unique 'cook your catch' experience, though I found the prices a bit steep compared to other options nearby.
The resort is conveniently located in Tofino, just a short walk from shops and restaurants. The rooms are decently laid out and clean, but lack air conditioning, which made for an uncomfortable stay during warm weather. While the on-site dining at Shelter was exceptional, the overall service and communication fell short of expectations, leading to some frustrating experiences. Despite these issues, the location and the adventures available nearby made it a fun stay.
I had a fantastic family fishing trip with Captain D, who was incredibly knowledgeable and made the day memorable. The newly renovated hotel rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated, perfect for our two families. However, one of the motels we tried was a real letdown due to noise issues that made for a sleepless night, and I wouldn't recommend it. Overall, my experiences ranged from excellent to disappointing, making it essential to choose wisely.
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Tofino. The rooms were modern, clean, and had comfortable beds, making for a great night's sleep. The staff was professional and incredibly helpful, which made our experience even better. However, we faced some disappointment with the whale and bear watching tours being canceled, which could be frustrating for those looking forward to that. Overall, the hotel provided good value for money with its amenities and stunning location by the water.
